"Terrible customer service, if you expect to have consumer rights upheld I suggest you do not shop here. After having a pair of children's runners for 2 weeks virtually fall apart the owner of the business refused an EXCHANGE for a better quality shoe at the original purchase price claiming the child wearing the shoes was at fault not just the product so he would only allow an exchange of half the original purchase price as his business would not be fully reimbursed for the cost of the shoe. The shop assistant who sold the shoes to us also gave false information claiming the shoes to be partly leather reinforcing the quality of the shoe at the price we were paying to get the sale across the line, the owner accused us of lying & falsely claimed to be in the store at the time of the transaction to back up his claim. We have since reported the business to the ACCC & contacted the supplier directly as we do not wish to deal with this business directly again! Absolutely terrible & a sad example of why so many customers wont deal with privately owned small retailers anymore..."
