"Great location with plenty of seating. Venue was clean, tidy and we'll presented. Staff seemed very disinterested and bored. Coffee was good. I ordered Eggs Benedict with bacon for breakfast, it was about as exciting as truck stop food, but nice enough. Considering the price you'd expect a little originality in preparation and ingredients, alas it seems to be made on Coles English muffins and bacon. Will look for another cafe on my next stop in town."
"A convenient cafe located next to Dendy's cinema in Newtown. Ambience was nice, staff was quite friendly and there are plenty of seats including a few outdoor ones. However, our food took a while to arrive. Had to check-in with staff when it would be ready, also keep-in-mind it was a quiet weekday. I could tell a customer across from me was getting quite agitated as well. After a good 40 minutes to maybe an hour, food finally arrived. The schnitzel was mediocre, same with the mash and veggies. I wasn't blown away, but luckily the pancakes were good. Would add more flavour and seasoning to the veggies and mash. The schnitzel needed more texture and crunch. However, at least the portion was good."
"Great location on King St. Friendly and efficient staff. Plenty of seating in doors and out. Average pricing. I ordered their home made granola with yoghurt. I was a bit disappointed as the yoghurt was minimal and if there had been more, would have helped to balance out the over bearing strong honey taste my dish had. I would eat here again but would not order their in house granola again."
"We ordered a bunch of food and they tasted ok. The meatballs pasta tasted fresh but the meat was sort of plain and needed a bit seasonings in it. The creamy pasta was ok and nice but some of the pasta weren’t cooked enough. The beef burger was nice but still the patty needed a bit seasoning therefore it’d taste better. The staffs were a bit rude but it was fine."
