"Went to this practice yesterday as I was unable to attend my regular dentist after losing a large bonded filling from a molar the previous day. I was very happy with the availability of a prompt appointment and very happy with the repair to my tooth. The staff were pleasant and professional. However I was shocked at the cost of my visit. Six months earlier at my regular dentist I had the same type of repair carried out for over $180.00 less. The same item numbers as previously but this time with an additional charge for ‘ oral examination- limited’. This is the charge that I find objectionable. As I attended this dentist with broken filling in hand and a large gaping hole in my tooth which I pointed out to the dentist I believe it to be completely unethical to charge for an examination fee of the tooth in question on top of the repair fee. It would appear that this practice knows how to charge to the max."
