Known as the park that 'has it all', our Playspace is part of the renowned Ruffey Lake Park, which is popular for social gatherings and family reunions.

At Church Road North Playspace, we offer three kid-friendly picnic areas that are equipped with all the facilities you'll need for a fun-filled day out. Our picnic shelters and barbecues are in high demand, so be sure to come early as it operates on a 'first come, first serve' basis. We encourage sharing and creating a warm, community atmosphere.

To reach our Playspace, simply follow the Hilltops Circuit path up the hill from the Church Road car park. Alternatively, you can access it through the Victoria Street or Church Road South entrance. It's easy to find your way and start enjoying the wonders of Ruffey Lake Park.

One of the highlights of Ruffey Lake Park is our Disc Golf Course, which provides an exciting 18-hole recreational activity for park-goers. Whether you're a seasoned player or trying it out for the first time, our course offers a unique and enjoyable experience.

We also welcome dogs at Ruffey Lake Park, providing both off-lead and on-lead areas for you and your furry friend to explore. However, please note that there are fenced areas in the park designated for revegetation where dogs are not allowed. This helps us maintain the park's natural beauty and protect its delicate ecosystems.

For your convenience and safety, the park is open until 10.00pm during daylight savings months and until 8.00pm otherwise. If you come across any safety concerns, such as broken tree branches or damaged playground equipment, please let us know so we can address them promptly.

Please be aware that certain events, such as festivals or school's cross country runs, require special permission to be held on public land. We strive to maintain a harmonious balance between organized activities and the park's natural environment.
