About the Business
Welcome to Rise Early Learning Epping Road, a premier establishment for high-quality early childhood education and care in North Ryde, Australia. Our institution is located at 65 Epping Road, offering a convenient and accessible location for families in surrounding areas such as Macquarie Park and North Ryde.
At Rise Early Learning, we are committed to providing a nurturing and respectful environment for children to thrive. Our educational approach is guided by the principles of The Phoenix Cups Framework, Walker Learning Approach, and RIE (Resources for Infant Educarers) Approach. These influences enable us to personalize learning and prioritize respect as the foundation of everything we do.
We strongly believe in the importance of connecting children to the natural world and recognize the endless opportunities for learning that can be found outdoors. Embracing risky-play as a natural desire and need for children, we actively support their holistic development through active play in our outdoor spaces.
Our dedication to excellence has been recognized by the NSW Department of Education, as we have been awarded the highest possible accreditation rating (Exceeding National Quality Standard in all seven areas) in February 2021. This achievement reflects our commitment to providing exceptional early childhood education and care.
At Rise Early Learning, we view children as citizens of the world with a right to be heard and valued. We respect their individual learning journeys and fiery curiosities, advocating for their voices to be heard from infancy to preschool and beyond.
Our team of educators is the backbone of our service, and we prioritize ongoing professional development to ensure the delivery of high-quality practices. With a diverse and supportive culture, our educators work collaboratively to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
We understand the significant benefits of natural and outdoor play spaces for children's wellbeing. Our outdoor learning environments and community gardens provide endless opportunities for children to learn about sustainability and engage in nature play. From caring for our worm farm to exploring Eden Gardens and Lane Cove National Park, children are immersed in hands-on experiences that foster a love for the natural world.
In addition to outdoor play, we also focus on developing practical life skills in our daily learning. Our Life Skills Program extends this practice by providing children with experiences in food, science, cooking, and visiting local farmer's markets.
Our Cultural and Community Appreciation Program supports children's sense of identity and their understanding of their place within the community. Through music, dance, and creative arts, children are encouraged to communicate, problem-solve, and develop social and emotional skills. We also foster connections with the community through experiences such as volunteering with grandparents and visiting St Peter's Aged Care Facility.
The Mind and Body Program at Rise Early Learning includes activities such as yoga, Bright Stars dance, Rebels Sports Program, athletics on the Rotary Oval, and playing on the tennis courts. We believe in the importance of freedom of movement and providing children with age and developmentally appropriate guided experiences to support their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
At Rise Early Learning, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality early childhood education and care that provides positive life outcomes for all children. Our holistic approach to learning, underpinned by the renowned RIE approach, ensures that children receive the best possible start to their educational journey.

"We had an extremely poor experience at Rise. We were very excited to join as the facilities are beautiful and the educators on the open day seemed engaged and friendly. Not long after starting, we noticed our 2yo daughter regressing socially and plateauing developmentally. We thought this was expected after starting a new centre and persevered, however every afternoon we were met with frustrated educators who would tell us how grumpy she had been and walk away. At drop off our daughter would cling to us and be so distressed, the educators seemed to busy to even greet her or say good morning, it became really difficult to leave her. One afternoon my husband walked in on an educator standing over her yelling at her and pointing in her face. This raised immediate red flags on how she is treated through the day and why she may have been regressing so significantly. We tried to work with the centre manager, who acknowledged the incident, but the educators would avoid eye contact over the next 2 days and we knew it was not a safe place for our daughter so asked to remove her from their care immediately. Over the next few weeks we were trying to negotiate exiting without a notice period as we couldn’t bare the thought of leaving her in their care another day. The centre director ‘supported’ by reducing our notice period to 2 weeks. This meant we had to pay for a new daycare and Rise. I am so happy to say that our daughter immediately returned to her normal happy and intelligent self within a week of leaving Rise, and is extremely settled in her current daycare. I do truly hope we are the only family to have gone or to ever go through this experience at Rise."
"We honestly feel so lucky to have our two kiddos go here. Beautiful environment, incredibly creative play spaces and rotations and activities, warm and helpful administration for forgetful mums, and above all, passionate educators who build connections with each kid. So special. We came from a different centre a couple years ago, and didn't realise what we were missing out on and how good it could feel."
"This is the 4th daycare for my kid in 3 years. My son used to cry during drop off every morning and i leave him with a very heavy heart as he could never settle down in the previous day cares. But now i can see so many positive changes in him in Rise Early Learning centre. The biggest change is "he does not cry during drop off anymore" which is my dream come true. He is making friends, eating better, interacting with other kids, happy when i pick him up and the educators give me feed back every time i collect him. The educators really look after the kids, very gentle and give them enough space and make them feel comfortable. I am so very happy to find RELC for my son. I cannot thank the educators Deepa, Tano( who left), Pablo, Sarah, Elliot enough for looking after my son. Also thanks to Lani (admin) who is very prompt will all my queries. You guys doing an excellent job !!!!!"
"A centre like no other - beautiful indoor and outdoor environments, genuine nurturing management and educators with high quality (exceeding) educational programs across all ages."
