Our team of obstetricians and midwives have collectively delivered thousands of babies, and our dedicated midwives have decades of experience in mothercraft. Now, they have joined forces to provide western Sydney families with an affordable, premium, private birthing experience. This experience is available to most mums who are privately insured and hold a valid Medicare card.

Our obstetric package is priced at $1290 for major funds such as BUPA, HCF, and Medibank Private. However, please note that other funds may incur higher fees. Rest assured, our costs include all obstetrician and midwife services. Pathology services are usually bulk billed, although in-hospital pathology services may have additional charges. Ultrasound services may also have some out-of-pocket charges. Additionally, you may be charged fees for an anaesthetist and a paediatrician.

During your first visit, a highly-trained midwife will review your medical history and assess your suitability for our services. Your scans and pathology will also be reviewed during this time. Subsequent appointments will involve consultations with our rotating team of six obstetricians, who will assess your pregnancy, discuss your birth plan, and address any concerns you may have.

In your second trimester, our trusted midwives will take care of your consults, ensuring that you receive comprehensive support and guidance. As you approach the third trimester, you will once again meet with an obstetrician to plan your preferred birthing pathway, whether it be vaginal or C-Section delivery.

At Bloom, we cover both vaginal deliveries and C-Section deliveries in Norwest Private, Westmead Private, and Westmead Public hospitals. We are committed to providing you with a seamless and comfortable birthing experience.

In addition to consultations with our obstetricians, our highly-skilled and experienced midwives will assist you with various aspects of your pregnancy journey. We also offer the opportunity for current public patients to transition to Bloom private hospitals up to 37 weeks.

Prior to your delivery, we kindly request that you notify the midwives in the delivery suite of your imminent arrival. We want to ensure that everything is prepared for your arrival and that you receive the best possible care.

For your convenience, we have provided information on public transport options to both Westmead Private and Norwest Private hospitals on our website.
