At The Homestead, we strive to provide valuable learning opportunities for individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Our diverse programs cater to various interests and needs. Whether you are looking to enhance your computer skills, improve your English language proficiency, or engage in cultural activities, we have something for everyone.

For those interested in computer basics, we offer free classes every Monday from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Registration is required to secure your spot. If you are looking to learn English as an Additional Language (EAL), we have beginner classes available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9.30am to 12.30pm. Express your interest to join these classes.

In addition to our EAL beginner classes, we also offer EAL classes at the Kalkallo Community Centre on the same days from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. Tai Chi enthusiasts can join our Tai Chi for Health classes, available for both beginners and intermediates on Mondays. Vietnamese Cultural Support Group is also available on Mondays from 10.30am to 3pm, providing a space for cultural exchange and support.

We believe in fostering a sense of community and connection, which is why we host a free weekly community lunch every Wednesday from 11.30am to 1.30pm. Registration is required to ensure we can accommodate everyone. Additionally, we have special events such as a low-cost Pet Vaccination & Health Clinic on Thursday, September 21, and a free Hearing Test on Wednesday, October 11. Stay Safe Online - How to Spot Scam Workshop is also available on Monday, October 23.

For those interested in art and creativity, we offer a Sketch and Stroll Short Course, a 3-week program starting on Saturday, October 7. Register early to secure your spot.
