"Our favourite local playground. The playspace is simply amazing. There is a fantastic range of equipment for kids of all ages. Climbing nets and ladders, a high walk, slides, swings, a sandpit with diggers, a cubby house town and flying foxes. The park also has accessible swings. Plenty of car parking and easy access to the Eltham-Diamond Creek Trail. Sometimes there is a coffee van, but if not Edendale is about 100m over the bridge and you can get coffee from their cafe."
"A beautiful fun playground for families with children of all ages. The Aboriginal Seasonal Garden provides a peaceful place for reflection and learning."
"Great playground, very spacious, some under cover areas- good for rainy and cold days. Public Toilets here too. Shade sails over the swings are great for blocking the sun. There are slides, swings, a big treehouse type play area, a flying dox, sand area and little play houses for pretend play, as well. 5/5!"
"The original playground was destroyed by fire in 2017 and with that, many hearts were broken with grief. This was the place for birthday parties, for after school gatherings, for picnics and waking the dog. The new playground is fairly similar in design and the space from the previous playground but without the treated pine and somewhat dated wood. It opened in December 2018 with great delight to those who knew and loved the old one. Plenty of undercover space for kids to play even in inclement weather plus there are an abundance of picnic tables and bbq’s for people to use. So what’s on offer for the kids to play on. Well apart from the main structure, within that are incorporated a double flying fox which also has a seat for the disabled. Here are cute little sheds for kids to play post office and general store that are like cubbies, sand pots, swings, number of slides, climbing wall, water trough for sand play, spinners, commando climbing rope/wall plus a swing dedicated for dis sled people. Being close to Edendale Farm, you can get real bang for your buck by visiting both in one day. Also nearby are walking paths, bike paths and of course the massive grassy green oval that dog lovers enjoy to exercise their canines. There is plenty of parking, abundance of toilets and water fountains. This is a must visit playground any time of the week but on weekends it’s extra busy as it’s popular with young kids birthday parties. Enjoy!"
"Fantastic playground facilities with enclosed dog park. Like others have mentioned I can imagine it being crowded and needs more shaded cover and seats. Nit picking here but noticed some rubbish drink bottles etc. Please clean after yourself. Sand pit, mulch, smooth rocks needs maintenance and topping up otherwise well thought after playground park."
