Welcome to Play Centre NewHope Playspace, located at Blackburn North, Springfield Road. We are an establishment and point of interest that offers a fun and engaging space for preschool children and their caregivers. Whether you're a parent, grandparent, or part of a mothers' group, our Playspace is the perfect place to bring your little ones.

At Playspace, we believe in promoting unstructured play and adventure, while also providing a space for caregivers to relax and socialize. Our Middle Ground Café offers refreshments and the opportunity to chat with friends while your children play. We encourage creativity, imagination, and parent interaction, ensuring there is something for children of all ages.

During the school term, Playspace is open from Tuesdays to Fridays, from 9:30am to 1:00pm. The cost is $7 per child (12 months to 5 years), with a maximum of $12 per family. Babies under 12 months can enter for free.

One of our highlights is Melody Time, a musical space for carers and children held every Friday around 10:30am. Led by a Registered Music Therapist, this session encourages positive interactions between carers and children through music. It's a fun and educational experience that promotes movement, singing, interaction, and play.

You are welcome to bring your own food and drink into Playspace, but we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing any nuts or nut products due to allergies. Alternatively, you can purchase delicious food and drink options from Middle Ground Café, conveniently located next to Playspace.

Our Playspace is equipped with a wide range of toys, equipment, and activities suitable for different ages and stages. From ride-on cars and bikes to stepping stones, large foam building blocks, dress ups, balls, and bubbles, there's something for every child's imagination to flourish.

There is no need to enroll or register to attend Playspace. You can simply drop in any time between 9:30am and 1:00pm from Tuesdays to Fridays. Payment can be made on the day, either by credit card at the reception desk or in cash to our team in the room.

For nappy changing, we have facilities provided in the toilets behind Middle Ground Café. We kindly ask that nappies are not changed in the Playspace room for health and hygiene reasons.

In addition to our Playspace, we also offer a Kids Church service that runs alongside our morning adult gatherings every Sunday at 9am and 11am during the school terms. Kids Church is a fun and free experience, open to everyone. If you're planning to attend for the first time, please fill out the registration form on our website to help us prepare for your visit.

We also offer mainly music, a special interactive session for little ones and their caregivers filled with music, movement, learning, and fun! Sessions run on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday mornings at 10am during the school term. Please note that fees apply and places are limited.

At NewHope Baptist Preschool, we are dedicated to providing a high-quality educational program for young children. Our Christian staff create a caring and nurturing environment where each child has the opportunity to develop and grow. If your child is interested in soccer, our highly popular KickStart program is designed for boys and girls aged 4.5 to 7 years. Registrations are accepted throughout the year. For more information, please visit our website.
