"Appalling customer service from Adam. I purchased some shoes at this store and paid full price. I got a marketing email from Athlete's Foot the very next day telling me that the shoes I bought were now on sale at a significant discount! When I was purchasing the shoes, Adam declined to mention that there was a sale starting the very next day. I've had numerous experiences before at other retailers where I've been looking to purchase an item that is about to go on sale. In these cases I've been helpfully offered the sale price (even though the sale hadn't yet started) or been advised to wait until the sale started so I could get the cheaper price. I tried to return the shoes at another AF store but wasn't able to (these were ordered online via the Ringwood store as there was no stock in my size and had to be returned at Ringwood which was an inconvenience in itself). I was chatting to the clerk at this other store who was shocked at Adam's behaviour - he told me that he routinely offers the sale price to customers in my situation. I returned the shoes for a full refund and will now purchase them from a competitor. Not only have you lost a sale, you've also lost a customer for life. I suggest you do some coaching with Adam, the unhelpful sales clerk, on what constitutes good customer service."

"Melissa was serving me for a long while trying to find options including shoes and insoles after using the 3D scanner. Unfortunately my feet just hurt whatever combination I tried. Regardless she was so helpful and patient and didn't pressure me to buy anything and pointed me towards a podiatrist to try and solve my problems instead. Amazing friendly service."
"I've just had a terrific experience here. The young woman with dark hair & lovely smile who looked after me couldn't have been more helpful. She explained the measuring process clearly. She was so professional, so competent, that after only a few questions she found the perfect shoes for me. I didn't need to try on any others. I wanted longer laces & she very obligingly changed them over for me, saving my arthritic hands, also explained the recycling programme, which is terrific.This happy old lady will be back!"
