"I went to the Parramatta Westfield store where I normally shop for my son. I am or was a loyal Johnny Bigg customer until now, spending thousands of dollars every year. On the 17th of January this year I had to visit the store to get some clothes for my son but more importantly a white shirt for him as his mum had unfortunately passed away a week before so I had to get him black pants and a white shirt with a few other things and I would have spent a few hundred dollars that day. As it happened my son did have a white Johnny Biggs white shirt in his wardrobe which we both forgot and was the right size. This new white shirt was a size smaller so I returned to Westfield the next day asking if I could get a refund. I was only missing the plastic piece which holds the price tag to the shirt but had the tag with the receipt. Explained to this shop assistant of my situation about the funeral but was told they will not refund because the shirt which was only a day old and never worn had crease and missing the little piece of plastic which holds the price tag . I reminded her I was a loyal customer , will get the shirt professionally ironed and given my situation could they rethink. Was handed over to this abrupt rude store manager by the name of Helen. She seemed more concerned about the other customers listening / overhearing our conversation rather than being sympathetic. Anyway I agreed to the exchange policy so picked up 2 other pieces of clothing for my son, went to the counter and while she was processing the exchange I asked her the contact details for her head office and where I could post my dissatisfaction. Well the whole conversation changed instantly and Helen the store manage than decided she will change her mind because she does not like negative feedback. She decides to change her mind and tells me to leave the store and she won’t exchange or refund. I than thought this is not right and went to Westfield security, came with him and again she tells me to leave the store , the most unprofessional person I have met, unsympathetic to my feelings and situation. I than thought to lodge a complaint to the Johnny Biggs complaint number advertised on the website , the lady took the details of my complaint and assured me and very sympathetic saying this is not the way I was supposed to be dealt similar to the Parramatta Westfield customer service desk. Anyway after my 3rd follow up call today to see when I will get this call from a Area Sales manager, if they exists will call me? As for the $100 shirt I could not care less and will donate it but it’s the principle. Helen the store manager who seems to know so much besides the basics c ie good customer service told me if i bought that shirt from any other shop they would not take it because it was missing a piece of plastic which affixes it to the price tag, wow, I wished I bought it from Grace brothers next door who sold Johnny Biggs ? I have bought lots of clothes from Grace Bros , DJ and other department stores and they all return clothes as long as I had the receipt which I did in this case . Please have some empathy in future Helen the store manager especially in my sons situation where my son lost his mum and I was buying his clothes for the funeral . As for the Area Sales Manager I may or may not get a call because it’s approx 4 weeks. No doubt to prove my point I will take this up with fair trading, as for the store manager I hope Helen gets sent for retraining on customer service. As for me I will never buy or recommend any brands of Johnny Biggs including all their chains , it won’t hurt them I know but please have some respect and feelings about customer based on my situation. 3/3/23 - been close to 2 months now and still have not received a call from their head office even after following up with their complaints department 3 times. Seems to me they only care about money and not customers feedback or their feelings. Shame on you Johnny Biggs and why have a complaint department when you don’t bother to call back. ?"

"The sales staff is super pleasant n friendly. I'd shop here again just for the service. Went to spend about $500 on clothes ended up with $1,500 spent just due to the super service n help. Seriously not seen this level of attention in a long time."
