Founded in 2015, Bowerbird Theatre is the brainchild of David Joseph and Karen Berger, who collectively possess over fifty years of experience in the performing arts sector. Working alongside exceptional video artists, lighting technicians, set designers, and costume specialists, our team strives to push the boundaries of sophistication in storytelling.

Karen and David share a deep passion for story, song, rhythm, and dance. They have not only performed but also taught in various disciplines and contexts. Their practical experience is complemented by academic study, allowing their knowledge and love for the performing arts to continuously evolve.
