"Princess Theatre is a beautiful and historic building that encaptures the grandeur of a past era. Easily accessible by public transport with Parliament station very close by and trams running nearby. I love the stained glass windows, beautifully ornate ceilings, carvings and intricate paintings that are dotted throughout It had an amazing makeover to facilitate Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Carpets, walls and seating were redone- and are much better for it. Seating is pretty comfortable,( even for those long productions) and although I found viewing pretty good from most areas in the 1st balcony, nothing beats front row middle. A few toilet areas, spread around for accessibility and multiple areas to purchase memorabilia or food/ drinks makes it easy to avoid huge queues. Oh, and of course, H.P and the Cursed Child was magical theatre.....a bloody brilliant production. I enjoyed the updated, condensed version more than the 2 parts- better effects, more magic and less unnecessary words."
"Harry Potter on stage was my best theatre experiences ever!!! My teenagers fell in love with theatre and I hope it will be live long. Although Harry Potter was of the highest standard all over!"
"I went for Harry Potter theater show, it was so good. I purchase the ticket via ticketek and the whole process to go in and out was smooth. The show was so good and the theater is also nice and decent with cozy seat. I walk from Franklin street all the way to the theater. I think there's nearby tram and bus stop as well. Highly recommended to check the show via online site and purchase the ticket early before it gets sold out."
"I saw the Harry Potter and cursing child play which was excellent. The Princess theatre was a very nice venue. Pretty easy to get to with nearby train/tram stations and I think also room for taxi and Uber so it's easy for transportation. I also noticed that there were a lot of restaurants very close by which can be handy. The staff at the venue were all really nice and helpful in finding the seat. Also it was quite easy to find the correct door to go through as they were labelled quite well. The inside was also really nice, it was decorated very well and the play has amazing effects which were unexpected. The seats were pretty comfortable even for a long play which went for a few hours although a bit narrow to go through when others are sitting. We had pretty good views of the stage from the top balcony and being very close to the front was great especially for this show. The toilets were also in pretty good condition and pretty spacious so you're not on top of others when there's the toilet rush."
"Such a beautiful venue for the cursed child. The sound reverberates nicely around the room and the special effects especially during the dementors scene was absolutely enthralling. You can buy tickets at the venue or also online. Definitely buy in advance if possible to get good seats"
