Oaks Melbourne on Market Hotel

"Just superb. Such friendly conceirge. Spacious rooms and bed was so comfortable. Had a great sized desk for me to work and could order room service. Kitchen was spacious and clean. Mugs I absolutely loved. Most motels have tiny cups but had mugs which I need."

"Pretty happy with our stay at oaks on market, room was nice, facility was nice and the location was really handy. Pool, spa and sauna were a nice bonus for us. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again!"

"STAY ELSEWHERE! I don’t know how this is a 4 star hotel. We checked in early before our room was ready and was told our room would get expedited and we would be called once it is ready. By 4pm, we still didn’t get a call. The room was run down and dirty. The pillows were dirty, there was stain on the mirror and mould in the shower. The bathroom door was damaged and the air conditioner just didn’t work. There was no water pressure from the shower - it just felt trickles. We found all these problems very late at night and we were just too tired to alert front desk. We were asked about our stay when we checked out either. Simply very disappointed and will not stay at this place again."

"Really great location. Lovely bar in the lobby. Although the rooms were a little bit dated they were very clean and spacious! Plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 teenage children. Pool and gym were excellent. Only let down was the lack of vegan options at the included buffet breakfast. Staff were welcoming and helpful. We would stay here again for the location and comfort alone."

"It was surprising good. The lobby and bar areas look great and inviting. The room we had was a bit older, but had plenty of space for a studio and the kitchenette was well stocked and clean. The location is quiet but a tram stop is nearby on Collins Street. When the road was redesigned lately the council made no provision for drop off or pick-up, which is the only negative. We would certainly stay here again."
