Reviews
"A very nice Italian restaurant that serves mouth watering food. We had Margherita pizza, Vegetariana Pizza and Risotto Avola. All three dishes were perfectly cooked and tasted superb. The service was quick and the staff are very friendly. You have ample parking just in front of the restaurant. Would love to visit again."
"Excellent pizza with generous toppings, but a bit uneven. The pasta were also quite good. They were short-handed, but still managed to get our food out within a good amount of time and to check on us. Seating are limited, so highly recommend to book in advanced."
"Small, local pizzeria with unique and delicious toppings, and a wide range of traditional Italian dishes. Staff are lovely and accommodating and prices are very reasonable. Worth a trip for any pizza lover!"
"Seems to have many good reviews so maybe our experience was an outlier. Won't be risking it again though. We just moved to the area and are looking for a local pizza place to be our regular. Ordered a family size Marinara - Seafood Gourmet Pizza and was very disappointed. It's basic seafood marinara mix on a pizza base. From a restaurant that calls this a "gourmet pizza" we thought we'd get some fresh seafood but no, it is just basic seafood mix with tiny Chinese takeaway fried rice prawns, tiny 1cm mussels and barely visible pipis. I think we counted 1 piece of squid on the whole pizza. There is no other seafood on it whereas from other restaurants you will find scallops, fish, octopus, big prawns, big mussels on their gourmet seafood pizzas. I don't know how you can use frozen cheap seafood, call it gourmet and charge almost $30 for it. This is the only time I've ever regretted choosing a gourmet pizza over Dominos. Maybe it was an off night for them, or perhaps their other pizzas are great, but our pizza was dismal at best. I recommend never ordering from their "gourmet" seafood menu. :EDIT: The owner responded. One sign of a good business is how well they respond to criticism. A better shop would've replied with an apology and perhaps have asked us to try their pizza once more. Instead, this owner has just accused me of lying and making up a fake review and posting fake pictures. Instead of accepting responsibility you're pointing fingers. I have no reason to lie and give a false review with a fake picture. Why would I waste my time with that? The pizza picture was late because I didn't know we still had some of your pizza left. Those 2 slices stayed in the fridge uneaten because nobody wanted to finish them. I found them on rubbish day when cleaning the fridge out. There is no reason for me to post a fake picture. Again, why would I waste my time doing that? What I ordered was the Marinara - Seafood Gourmet Pizza. The description is "Mixed seafood and garlic" and that is my point. Other stores that advertise a "gourmet" seafood pizza include fish, scallops, prawns as part of the "mixed seafood" description. Your seafood pizza is not gourmet. It is just cheap frozen marinara mix. I have written reviews of other pizza stores in the area. Take a look at my review for the basic marinara pizza I ordered from Carlingford Gourmet Pizza and have a look at the picture attached to that review. That isn't even from their gourmet menu yet it has better toppings than your gourmet pizza. I gave you 1/5 stars because when compared to other pizza shops in the area, your pizza was very disappointing. Self proclaiming that you have the best pizzas in the area does not make it true. Telling me you have 35 years experience doesn't magically turn my bad pizza into a good one. Why are you refusing to accept that my pizza was bad? Why are you accusing me of posting a fake picture? This is ridiculous. The two slices of pizza in the picture are definitely from your shop. You yourself said that it does not represent the true quality of your pizzas. So, you are admitting that the pizza looks terrible to the point where you're even denying it is from your shop. Well, that is the pizza I received from you. You agree it is bad. Maybe now you can understand why I was disappointed by it. I tried to be nice in my review, starting with "maybe our experience was an outlier" meaning I was just unlucky and got a bad pizza and normally they are good. I ended with "maybe it was an off night" and suggested perhaps your other pizzas are good. I didn't tell people not to order from your store, I recommended they never order from your seafood menu. But after your response, I recommend never spending money at this shop. You are an arrogant owner that would rather call their customers liars over accepting responsibility for a single bad pizza."
