"This hotel is a great location, beautiful house, the rooms are well decorated and look clean. The host is very friendly. I stayed twice and both of times I had problems with the shower, the hot water will just stop and the water is freezing cold several times during the shower. It's also very easy the hear noisy coming from other rooms, you can hear your neighbours talking at night, for this reason I didn't sleep well both times I stayed there."

Only a short stroll from town, Hotel Avonleigh is a magnificent place to stay and to experience the Blue Mountains in all its glory! The facilities are clean and the atmosphere warm and inviting. The proprietor, Young, is a rarity in this business, being a friendly and engaging person, who constantly strives to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Highly recommended. Will return again. "Very nice and cosy place. You feel like that you are staying in a royal mansion. The interior is beautiful. We stayed here for a night and loved our stay. We reached very late and the manager Young was very accommodation. We had to call him in the midnight as we locked ourselves out of our room. He was very patient and friendly and helped us out."
"The hotel staff were very nice and kept the beds relatively clean however I found lots of dust near the out-of-sight areas. Location is beautiful and in a great position to tour and examine different attractions. A bit overpriced but none the less a good place to stay the night."
"The decoration is very nice, nice enough to take a few photos and post it on facebook, lol. Also they have nice heater, after a cold 20 minutes walk(with taking photos along the way) from the station, I felt warm immediately once I step inside. The staff is also very helpful with any question I asked. Even before arriving to the property! When I don't want to go out on the cold windy night, there's a microwave and tea on the living room that I had used liberally."
