"Failed to refer me for wisdom teeth extraction (I required all 4 removed) and I had to follow up with a HSE complaint after contacting them to see why I had not heard anything about a surgery appointment 4 years after the referral was supposedly sent. I was studying in Galway and so wasn't actively tracking when I would be getting an appointment, but when I was finishing my degree I made contact. Their solution was to send the referral at that time (3+ years after they were supposed to have sent the referral) NO APOLOGY, NO PHONECALL, NO EXPLANATION! Under HSE complaint I was seen by a specialist in Sligo who offered to see me within a year to provide the surgery (which he did and there were no issues). Should not have had to wait through 4+ years of jaw pain and toothaches and bad breath because someone forgot to send an email!"
