Reviews
"Excellent place to stay in Sligo. Beautiful building with a great view. Spacious rooms, very comfortable beds. A great feel of the place and an interesting building history add to the pleasure of stay. There is SPA and a very nice bar attracting both locals and tourists. Great event venue - when we visited there was a wedding taking place. Nicely decorated common areas. If in area, I would recommend to stay in this hotel."
"Check in and check out was very fast. Stuff very nice and friendly. Room was cold, no toilets in bathroom, also shower was broken. Nothing in mini bar, not even water for drinking, so room was alright but I expected a wee bit more from 4 star hotel. Breakfast was nice but very small area where was food. But, bar was very good. Food was lovely, drinks with good price and stuff was very nice and caring. Didn’t have chance to try spa."
"The room was large, warm & well appointed. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast was 15 euro per person - but was a buffet so you could go back for more. The staff were extremely helpful. Unfortunately we didn't get the chance to use the spa/ health club due to our schedule."
"One night stay.Dinner was nice but no kids menu offered so not good value. The breakfast buffet was lovely, beds comfortable but the room was cold. No toiletries in the bathroom or water for drinking in the room. The pool was very good, staff very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was good. The entrance also was poorly lit when we arrived after 7pm."
"I really enjoyed my stay of 3 nights. This place was warm, cosy, and a pleasure to be in. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the whole experience feel relaxed, friendly and efficient. No hotel review would be complete without a little complaint, and honestly, it wasn't a big deal. But, the shower and toilet doors in the male gym changing area have seen better days, and probably need a complete refit at this point. It was the only let-down in the entire place. It stood out because everything else was so perfect."
