"The premade sandwiches and pastries all looked tasty and easy for grab-n-go, but we ordered off the menu. Eggs Benedict had a bland Hollandaise - and little of it on the plate. Coffee/lattes were fine. Service was rather unpleasant. No one seemed to want to actually serve the tables except the girl behind the bar who seemed to be doing everything food related while the other two were holiday redecorating windows. Catching anyone's eye was almost impossible and when asked for hot water we were brought a cup with lipstick on it. It wasn't particularly busy (two other tables and little takeout business) for the food and service to both be lacking."

"Grabbed a coffee at the outdoor seating area today. Friendly staff & nice looking tray bakes & pastries, only had a cappachino which was hot & frothy. Beautiful location along the garavogue river"

"this used to be one of me and my families favourite resturants in sligo town for years and years, since i went to college there over a decade ago. they made amazing distinct healthy food from a menu. never had a bad experience there ever pre covid. maybe theyve hit challenging times, i dont know but its become a pre made sandwich shop these days. you go in, they have a small selection of sandwiches behind a glass screen and if you dont want whats there they wont be making you anything. this has been my experience and my families experience the last couple of times at least and its very sad to see. we wont be back. if your visiting sligo theres so many other amazing options, give actual resturants your business."

"Stellar Garavogue sandwich. A veggie sandwich that was bursting with flavor. The Benbulben sandwich was also amazing! A must try in Sligo. It's a chicken sandwich with a very original almost creamy flavor. The scone (like a sweet biscuit for Americans) was so delicious with the softest butter I've had in years! Their Cappuccino is so good I'd have it everyday if I could. Service was friendly and quick. Price was very reasonable."

"My gluten free scone wasn’t actually that good - really hard and dry, pretty tasteless - but I did come at 4:30pm on a Sunday, and can’t expect much. The prices were low and the atmosphere was nice, outdoor seating by the river. Plus, having home made gluten free pastries is always a 5 star in my book. I’m sure if you come at a better time or in a better day yours would be nice!"
