Our founder, Martina, has always had an unwavering love for dogs from a young age. With four adored dogs of her own, including an Irish Water Spaniel, a Cocker Spaniel, and two Springer Spaniels, Martina has always taken pride in grooming her own dogs. After a successful career in Hotel Management spanning 30 years in both the UK and Ireland, Martina decided to follow her lifelong dream of working with dogs. In 2022, she took the leap and pursued her passion by completing the iPET Level 3 Award in Introduction to Dog Grooming, as well as the iPET Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management under the tutelage of Ireland's first International Certified Master Groomer, Cathy Bruen.

At Pooch & Paws, we prioritize the comfort and well-being of your furry friends. Our purpose-built studio is equipped with all the necessary tools and equipment to ensure a stress-free and comfortable grooming experience. With appointments available by appointment only, your dog will receive Martina's undivided attention during their time with us. We firmly believe in a fear-free and positive approach to grooming, treating every dog as a cherished member of the family.

Our services include a comprehensive health check, nail trimming and filing, ear cleaning, double shampooing, conditioning, a luxurious facial, a warm blow dry, and various grooming options such as de-shedding, brushing, combing, clipping, and scissoring styling tailored to your preferences. Additionally, we offer mini grooms as maintenance sessions to prevent shedding and matting between full grooming appointments.

We are proud members of the Irish Professional Dog Groomers Association (IPDGA) and have also completed the Canine First Responder Certificate, ensuring that your dog's safety and well-being are always our top priority.
