"Myself and 9 other ladies had a fantastic stay for a night last weekend. From check in, to check out, the staff were amazing. They couldn't do enough to make our stay more comfortable. The rooms are beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. We all agreed that the beds were very comfortable. The grounds are perfectly manicured. The afternoon tea was most enjoyable not to mention plentiful. Dinner was lovely and our choice of breakfast was second to none. Trevor, the Manager works so hard and is everywhere in the hotel. He is most helpful, funny, welcoming and such an asset to the hotel. Lucy was very welcoming and helpful too as were all the staff. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel and will definitely be back again. Thank you so much to all staff in Greenway Manor Hotel for making our stay such a fantastic experience."
"We cameaway with a group of 10 women. Our room was fabulous.. Looks newly decorated. The staff couldn't do e ough for us. Afternoon was fab with plenty on the trays savoury and sweet. We then had dinner in the restaurant and ended up staying there for the evening. The staff, Trevor in particular, were fantastic. Made our stay so comfortable and couldn't do enough for us. Would highly recommend a stay here and will definitely be back. Ample parking, kids playground, basketball court. Carvery lunch on Sunday seems very popular as we checked out."
"Attended a function here, as a student in SETU. Food was amazing in fairness served hot and tasted great. Very few leftovers in the room. The food was, however, served on mismatched plates, some smaller than others, tho same amount of food on each. Even some of the individual cutlery settings weren't matching. However, the bar closed during the meal and when reopened only served drinks in plastic glasses, nothing worse than Guinness served in a plastic glass. As a mature student I found it very disrespectful to the attendees and there was no issue at all through the night with the party goers. Also, glasses weren't even cleared off the tables, switched to plastic at 8 pm and glasses still on tables at 1130. As someone who works with a company that sources wedding venues I won't be recommending here, as a venue that can have such disrespect for its customers does not deserve the business. Also lack of attention to detail, eg plates and cutlery does not show a commitment to quality service, or a business that sells itself as a wedding venue. It is sad, food and staff were amazing but overall its a no"
"My experience in this hotel this past weekend was horrific. The rooms were freezing cold and I had to move my elderly grandparents from room to room in the early hours of the morning because they were freezing. The staff that night were next to useless and were no help. I spoke to a manager that night on the phone as they left the poor night porter by himself, he was the only one who was accommodating and did his utmost best to help us. The manager was rude and his only response was ‘I’m not there so there isn’t much I can really do’. I was told all the rooms were checked before we arrived and that the heating system was perfect but the rooms were cold from the moment we arrived and we’re still freezing the following morning. Upon check out, the staff member I dealt with was so rude and dismissive when I explained about my room and was unwilling to help. Luckily, when I was checking my grandparents out the girl at reception for them was very helpful and offered them a full refund. The least they could do in my opinion as my grandparents were very upset and uncomfortable. The staff were nothing short of rude and unhelpful. Considering the money we spent in the hotel as we were there for a family party and the money we paid for the rooms, having a warm room to sleep in is the least you’d expect. We couldn’t even get that. The breakfast the next day was freezing cold but I’m sure that isn’t surprising considering how they keep their rooms. I will not be returning and upon emailing them they have yet to get back to me about the issue."
"My family and I had a beautiful afternoon tea here today to celebrate a family occasion. The food was delicious and plenty of it - we couldn't get over the value for money! Service was great, they couldn't do enough for us. And a special mention for the fact they did an amazing spread for my sister who has dairy and egg allergies. Enjoyable all around, we will certainly be back!"
