"Western Vets have been looking after my cats for a year now. They are very friendly, empathetic and knowledgeable. Recently I’ve had a very sick kitten and their support has been really good. They managed to get him better and also handle my anxiety about his future. I especially like to mention Nollaig at the front desk, who is super efficient and has given me some great advice on cat behaviour."
"The caring and capable staff and veterinarians took great care of Luna! She’s on the mend, thanks to these great people!"
"We have recieved nothing but the highest quality care for our four legged family memeber. The doctors and staff are knowledgeable and helpful always looking out for our dog's wellbeing."
"Wonderful Receptionist. I would like to compliment Nollaig your wonderful receptionist for the kindness, courtesy and professionalism she extended to myself and my wife during our many visits to your practice recently, but particularly during July and August. May we also thank all of you for the wonderful service afforded to us and our pets. Separately, my wife read with complete incredulity the Google review by Chloe_Cleo as my wife witnessed the interaction referenced in the aforementioned review. Contrary to the suggestions contained in Chloe_Cleo’s version of events, which bear Zero resemblance to the actual events witnessed by my wife, Nollaig was the essence of calmness and professionalism. Perhaps on reflection and in the fullness of time Nollaig may receive an apology. If a reconciliation process were to occur I suggest a good place to start would be reality. My wife is willing, under the correct circumstances, to cooperate with such a process Regards, Philip"
"**NASTY RECEPTIONIST - INTIMIDATED AND BULLIED OUT OF THE PRACTICE** I was just served by Nollaig in your practice, I've been using you guys since I've had my dog and today left your practice in tears after the way I was treated. Nollaig completely mortifed and shamed me for no reason. She interrupted me 4 times to answer the phone (once a personal call on her mobile phone), and I understand she has to answer the phone too as part of her job, but most businesses will ask the new customer whether on the phone or in person, to please wait until they've finished serving their current customer if it's not urgent. I politely asked her after the forth call if she please wouldn't mind finishing writing out my script as I have a work shift to start now and she was so rude that I can't really believe how you have someone like that working for you. She said she was going to refuse to write my script and that I could just wait and threatened to put me out. I am not sure how or why I received this treatment, I wasn't asking anything other than for her to please finish my script first or ask the customer on the next call she took to hold for a minute and she point blank refused and got angry telling me not to tell her what her job was. I had just had a really bad diagnoses from my GP and I just wanted her to finish my script so I could get out again whilst I was still holding everything together and get home to start my work shift, and the torrent of abuse and how she put me down is like nothing I have ever experienced in all my own years of working in customer service. I am shocked and appalled and utterly distressed at how she treated me and in front of other customers too. I'm mortified and have been in tears since I have left your practice. It was pure downright nastiness and totally uncalled for. I understand everyone is stressed because of covid, but I never once treated her with any sort of disrespect or raised a voice or did anything to warrant how she's just treated me. The treatment of staff AND of your customers matter equally. I never usually write in a complaint but her manner was absolutely shocking. I don't want to have to leave your practice but I can't face that woman again without an apology or reconciliation. In my 20 years of working in retail, customer service and providing customers with some kind of service, I have never treated or been treated so horribly, it really was the worst experience I have ever had. I was completely intimated by this woman and for no reason."
