Novas Ireland

Welcome to Novas Ireland, a voluntary organisation dedicated to supporting and empowering individuals and families who are disadvantaged and socially excluded in Limerick and throughout Ireland. Located at 7 Saint Alphonsus Street, we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

As an Approved Housing Body, we provide social housing for low-income families and single adults, ensuring that everyone has access to safe and affordable accommodation in local communities across the country. Our client-centred services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, drawing on our extensive experience of working with homeless individuals in Ireland for over fifteen years.

At Novas, we firmly believe that everyone deserves a place to call home. We are committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness by offering a range of comprehensive support services that address the underlying causes of homelessness and empower individuals to rebuild their lives. From emergency accommodation and transitional housing to access to education, employment, and healthcare, we provide a holistic approach to support our clients on their journey towards stability and independence.

The demand for our services has significantly increased in recent months, reflecting the growing number of people experiencing homelessness. In 2021 alone, we supported a total of 5,978 individuals and families, a 5% increase from the previous year. This highlights the urgent need for organisations like Novas to continue advocating for social change and providing essential support to those in need.
