"Joe is a top class dentist. Thorough and professional. Has "saved" several of my teeth. My mother wouldn't go to a dentist until her pain got so bad. Joe was so patient with her and sorted out a long festering problem. She is no longer anxious going to the dentis since I brought her to Joe. Hygienist is super too. She never hurts my sensitive teeth."

"My experience with this practice has been shameful to say the least. I had a 9 o'clock appointment booked for a Monday morning but had taken ill on Friday and had to go to bed with a fever that night. After a horrendous weekend of sleepless nights I finally got some real sleep at around 4am on Monday morning. I awoke in a panic at 9.15am and called the practice. I began to explain my situation to the receptionist but was cut off abruptly and told that because I didn't bother to call in advance she would talk to Joe to see if we could rearrange. I never received a call back. I didn't pursue the matter as I was extremely tired and attended a doctor who informed me it was a bad reaction to a covid infection. I confirmed with a test later that day. Fast forward to today, I called to make an appointment but was again told that I because I 'didn't bother' to turn up the last time that Joe does not want me and to go somewhere else. Because I had not missed any appointments before or since (I bring my kids to their appointments) and had had no mention of any issues so I was very surprised and insulted by the treatment I received. I understand that missing an appointment affects the practice but this reaction shows the true ethos of the practice. They do not care about their patients, not really. They have no respect for them. My family and I will be going elsewhere and I will ensure everyone I have the pleasure of discussing dental care with will be told to steer well clear."
