"Genuinely please don't go here, he had my car a week done no work to it rang him constantly the whole week he had it and on the last phone call got told that my engine is gone and that I needed to pay €250!? I said this to another mechanic and he said I'm 100% being ripped off that the work that "should have" even been done on it shouldn't have even came to €250 so there is definitely something wrong somewhere! Stay well clear! Plenty of other good mechanics in Kilkenny."

"Can't recommend this place highly enough - our 1989 VW van had a major issue with the back box / exhaust en route to Kilkenny late Thurs evening. We just about made it into town and we phoned Uri first thing on Fri morning. We brought the van round and it needed new parts to repair it - not an easy thing to find for such an old van. But he managed to source these for us and then when the repair job turned out to be a lot more complex than originally anticipated, him and the other mechanics stayed late on Friday night while we basically took over their office so they could get it fixed for us and get us back on the road. They did a really thorough and professional job (I should know - we watched them do a lot of it!) of fixing the van and charged a very reasonable price considering the work involved - couldn't recommend them highly enough. I hope to never break down outside Kilkenny again but if I ever do, I know who to call!"
