"I’m a patient since 2016 and I’ve always received the best of care. I know all gps are under pressure nationwide like never before right now. I have been in Gp Care likely 4-5 times in the last 6 weeks for pregnancy related ailments and also with my 2 year old daughter . Every time I ring the receptionist team have been nothing but friendly and have done their best to accommodate us every time , even if it meant seeing another Gp to our own so we could get in sooner.Each GP and nurse we have encountered have really listened and gone above and beyond to help us and it is like you are their personal patient for years, even though you’ve just met. I think as a nation we are quick to complain but not to compliment and this practice deserves some major credit doing their best in what I’m sure is a very tough time in the health sector. Thank you again for such a great service we’d be lost without you."

"I visited Galway Primary Care today. I was met with such a friendly staff member, who made me feel at ease straight away. The staff were all very friendly, which really helps when you're a bit nervous. I would not move from my own Dr, Dr Brian Higgins, as he always takes such good care of me and is so proficient at his job. I am very fortunate to have him as my GP. Thank you, Brian...."

"UPDATED 2023 It's sad that I need to update my review, which was initially so positive. Unfortunately over the last few months, the service has dropped significantly. The few good staff in there, are not enough to make up for being repeatedly let down. Long wait times - long after the appointment time, prescriptions not being sent out, not getting callbacks about test results, and if you bring it up with the receptionists they are likely to snap at you. It is a good thing I do not have any debilitating or chronic illnesses, as I couldn't be guaranteed I'd be looked after. Really disappointing, and changing GP because of it. Best of luck, I hope you take this feedback as genuine feedback, and try to improve things. ================================= I've been going to Galway Primary Care for a number of years, and every time the service has been great. The receptionists have always been able to squeeze me in, the doctors are friendly, and seems no question is beneath them to answer. I've had doctors in the past who just want to churn through as many patients in the day - get you in and out as fast as possible, but I've never felt that here. I think a lot of the negative reviews here are stemming from people who didn't get what they wanted. So they are lashing out here. All I can say is, the staff are all great, the building is clean and comfortable, and they offer a number of services that would take weeks/months/years to get through HSE. Great work to all the team there, and all the best for 2020."

"Took me 3 years to find a practice where I felt that the health practitioners had my best interest at heart. Doctor Higgins listened to my concerns and when he proposed a treatment, he took my personal needs in consideration. He is also very well informed on latest research which is very beneficial when offering treatments. The practice has a good waiting room and I find that the practitioners are well timed with appointments."
