"After purchasing 3+2 seater sofas, had issues after issues. Delivery without all the components (motor missing for motorised recliner), no communication on resolution of the issue, promised numerous phone calls that didn't happen at all or with enormous delay, delivery with damage to furniture, lack of communication between sales team and delivery team, had to come back physically to the store as no phone answering, while in the store for a resolution again promises that did not happen. When after three weeks of chasing, a resolution was offered, no warning, no earlier notice than 10 mins before for the motor to be installed and to have somebody to give access to property. Was sent a survey and after being contacted by the store manager (I think) regarding the content of the survey, he promised as well a call back within a week with goodwill gesture as he advised that this experience should have never happened. This has been about a month and still no contact. Very unreliable, everybody from selling team, technical team, delivery team to management team have been making promises that none really have fulfilled. Had the purchase and payment done within an hour of being in the shop and am still without full resolution of the issue after months and months. Disappointed and frustrated that people that are telling you that you should not have a bad experience like that are the same ones continuing that experience"

"Was standing outside the dfs store waiting for a bus on public land , dfs employee then came outside the store and immediately told us to “f” off and go back to where we came from, this employee,that was wearing glasses but I did not get his name, proceeded to call the authoritative figures in the area while continuing to use foul language and smart remarks. The authoritative figures that arrived escorted us off the public property while shouting at us, but they did not use foul language. The dfs employee in my opinion should have at least asked politely first to leave the premises. For these reasons I will not be returning to dfs and will conduct my business elsewhere."

"Oh Lord, if you can, please, try to find an other source of your furniture. Order placed in October with the promise of pre-Christmas delivery. Guess what? I must have misread their advertisement and misunderstood people in the shop too because it was post-Christmas delivery. So we are very happy having all stuff here eventually and that now we can imagine how Christmas would have looked like. Isn't it much better to try to get our new post box that delivery guys destroyed upon delivery, or get a replacement of the dining table that had been delivered damaged, in this mood?"

"Purchased a sofa in the DFS Galway store today and very happy with the customer service. Abu (and the rest of the sales team) were not pushy, spent ages talking through different options with us Also recommended a smaller sized, cheaper option based on the sitting room space. Signing up for 0% interest free was also very streamlined. Will update when sofa arrives, but very happy so far!"

"Just purchased corner sofa and armchair from Michelle in DFS Galway. We went in on a Friday evening we knew we wanted a corner sofa bed with no scatter cushions and an armchair. She told us which models came like that then she adviced us to upgrade to encore to avoid sagging cushions which we wouldn’t have known about if we hadn’t gone in. We left that evening not ordering because we wanted to check measurements but we got Michelles email address because we were so impressed we wanted to stay dealing we her. Not pushy, well informed and very helpful. Galway store was clean, well stocked and warm"
