"I first attended Jo's class in Portlaoise with my daughter when she was almost 1 when they restarted after covid. Most of my maternity leave had been in lockdown so this was the first type of class/group we'd been able to do. My daughter is very shy and cautious, but she loved coming to the classes, and it was amazing to see her confidence grow from mostly watching at the beginning to fully participating after a couple of terms. She still sings the clean up song now over a year since she last came. Jo is such a brilliant teacher, she has a great way with all of the children, shows such care and interest and the songs and props are fantastic. So when I had my now 5month old son it was the first thing I signed up to and it is our highlight of the week!"

Jo puts so much preparation into the themes and format of each class and is full of energy each week. The classes are a great way to meet other parents and for my daughter to socialise, engage with music and dance and develop her motor skills. Would definitely recommend!"

"I would highly recommend Ready Steady Play and Music classes. I’ve been bringing my first born baby since she was 8 weeks old, she’s now almost 6 months, we just love the classes. I look forward to them each week. It’s nice to meet other moms too. Jo is so welcoming to mothers and babies. Her classes are well run and organised. Every week I cannot get over all her beautiful toys, resources and ideas that help with child development. "Have been attending ready steady play with my 18month old for the past 8 months. Classes are amazing and have a different theme each week! Singing dancing, even teaching the children Lamh signs which is amazing. It’s great for your little one to mix with other children and also for mammys and daddy’s to mix with each other! Jo is a fantastic teacher and it shows through her work how passionate she is about her job! Thanks Jo"
