"This was such a cool experience. It was a beautiful way to see the city. Elder was a great guide and had so many interesting facts about the town and the wildlife. 10/10. Can’t wait to come back!"
"Awesome experience... Kilkenny boat tour was a great experience right from the booking till end of the tour. I booked a private tour for my family (two adults, two senior citizens & a child) & we reached the embarking point 5-10 mins earlier. The boat arrive right on time & we were greeted by ever smiling boatman Mr. Clifford Reid while finishing up his previous round. He helped every one of us to put on safety jackets & everything. He helped the seniors to safely get on the boat & offered cushions. He also recommended the seating places & once everyone was settled, we set off. The boat ride is a very pleasant & tranquil experience. 'Cliff', as he prefers to be called, is an experienced & knowledgeable person & provides a lot of important information during the tour. Don't miss on it. Cliff offered each of us to try driving the boat & we enjoyed that part as well. The tour lasts for about 40-45 minutes & you get to know many different things which would normally be missed (from the land) in Kilkenny visit. So, if you're coming to Kilkenny, this boat ride is a must do in your activities, that too with 'Cliff'"
"Had a lovely tour on the Nore (Kilkenny) with Ann-Marie. Very positive experience, Ann Marie was great on the tour. It was well paced, serene and peaceful. Did not get any water on us. Also very instagrammable. She explained the history of Kilkenny, some fun facts and provided great recommendations. We booked the tour at the very last minute and she facilitated it for us. Highly recommended."
"Wonderful boat trip up and down the river! Wonderful to hear about the local area from a very amazing tour guide. Highly recommend!"
"We (two families of four) took a boat trip with Anne-Marie in Kilikenny last week, it was fantastic! The jetty is super easy to find, located at the bridge right beside Kilkenny Castle (as shown on Google Maps). We weren't sure if the weather would hold up but need not have worried as Anne-Marie had a bunch of umbrellas at the ready in the boat if the showers came!! We saw plenty of wildlife during the trip and Anne-Marie gave lots of info on these, the river itself and some of the history of the sights along the river banks. The children all enjoyed a turn steering the boat! This is a really nice way to see some of Kilkenny from a different view point and is suitable for all ages. The jetty makes getting on and off the boat really easy. The life jackets supplied are very comfortable and they have numerous sizes available for children of different ages."
