"Nice fish and chips, kids enjoyed the chicken and chips but the chicken wings looked like they'd died of old age and the mushroom risotto was watery when it would be much nicer creamy. Still got 2 stars for a nice simple and comfortable dining room."

"The food was lovely and cannot be faulted, but the service/experience could be better. My groups drinks order was forgotten twice, meaning our drinks arrived as we were nearly finished our meal. The other problem was the water was not working while we were there meaning not being able to order coffee or, more importantly, the toilets were not working. Given this restaurant was within a 4 star hotel, and I went while it was quite, I would have expected a bit better. Next time I’m in Adare I will probably be trying one of the other local restaurants."

"How can you overcook a vegan burger? It was like rubber. It’s a plant-it burger and I was hoping for a beyond burger. The plant it burgers are definitely different . Also the bun wasn’t a normal bun. We Americans eat burgers with our hands - and this one literally fell apart in my hands . I was embarrassed because my plate looked like I was playing with my food. A crumbled mess of bread. I’m not kidding. I have never seen bread so that. Very strange. The chips were good though ."

"My wife and I both enjoyed our meals. She had the salmon and I had the pasta with chicken. The desserts were great as well. The apple rhubarb crumble was fantastic! The only negative was the ridiculous antique sewing machine tables. I had no place to put my feet. But I would certainly go back again!"

"Such a cool spot with great decor. Very comfortable. The food was very good. The burger particularly. I had the linguini and it was good but very heavy and hard to finish. But the dessert...that was amazing. I had the rhubarb pudding and wished I wasn't so full so I could finish it. My husband had the braked alaska which was also awesome."
