Skelligs Chocolate and Cafe , The Glen, County Kerry

"Great experience, offered tasters of their delicious chocolate. Staff were so nice and very informative about the process of making the chocolate. Unfortunately the cafe was not open, which was disappointing, but a good excuse to return. Beautiful views of the beach and surrounding mountains and of course the skelligs."

"Fabulous people + salt and seaweed chocolate. We've arrived there 10min before the closing time, and were given a full tasting tour of the chocolate selection by Vlad, super friendly guy. He did recommend the dark chocolate with salt and seaweed which indeed was stupendous. And just when we decided to buy some ourselves we were told they have actually sold all of their stock- but looking around the place they've actually found one bar laying around, which they've packed in and handed it over. Fabulous! I'd go back there every time I will ever be in Kerry!"

"Small chocolate factory with great customer service. We were able to taste their different kinds of chocolate (for free!) and were provided with some information. They also answered our questions and we could have a look at the chocolate production. They also have a shop inside, the products are a bit more expensive than supermarket-chocolate, but the quality is much better. Sadly, the cafe was closed (maybe because of pre-easter time as they have to produce and pack the easter eggs). No ticket or reservation is needed and it was a great experience."

"Stopped here on a whim hoping to get something from the cafe. The cafe wasn't open, but the chocolate side was. I have never been able to taste so many different chocolates as I have here for free as samples. The woman who helped us was very nice and not at all pushy to get us to buy anything. It was fun to see everything being made in the factory and of course it smelled heavenly. I would gladly go back."

"Group Loved it, such a great setup, free entry and free tasting demonstrations and you can see the factory in full swing, then no push on you to buy anything but you will buy as their chocolate is too good to not, staff are really really nice and helpful, lovely cafe and u cab see the skellig from the windows and along the drive to and from it. A must visit"
