"Great spot for bird watching"
"Beautiful view to the river, a lot of fishes and birds!"
"The pier has been resurfaced making it much cleaner, and there is now a bench where you can sit while you watch the water. I walked along the shore to the island from the direction of Ahanesk Lodge, but this is not recommended as there is a rough patch of rock by the outfall about 600m from the Island."
"Gorgeous scenery. Beautiful picnic area, lovely spot to look out on the water and watch the birds"
"Nice quiet place for a night ..bit of rubbish been dumped in the water. Can see it when the tide is out...pity....a lot of crows in the trees ..."
