"Our first visit to Cork. This was the highlight of our stay. The museum is lovely. The restaurant was bonus (with excellent food & wine). Agnes, the "Ambassador" for the museum, would be my new best friend if I ever moved to your beautiful city! Her passion for Nano, the incredible "inside tour" and token gift she gave me, made a memory I will never forget. I knew nothing about the amazing Nano Nagle before visiting, but I know hold her dear to my heart and even have a print of her in my office. Thank you for putting together such a beautiful place (architecturally, it is a great site to visit in of itself). The other staff were also very helpful and friendly. 5 star visit!"
"We had never heard of this strong independent woman. I am not religious bit could not help but admire the work she did which has been carried on in her name. The staff were all passionate about this place and keen to share their knowledge and answer any questions. The museum itself is designed well and is accessible to all ages in how the information is delivered. Nano Nagle's grave and surrounding area is in a beautiful setting. I am so pleased we visited this place and special thanks to Agnes whose photos on display from when she was a young girl helped to bring it to life."
"Pleasant surprise stumbling across this peaceful spot in the middle of Cork city. We were greeted by a very friendly and informative worker. Didn’t take the paid tour, but enjoyed just walking around the grounds. Will have to return to try the little restaurant someday. Few people just relaxing and talking, and a couple others that looked like they were also there for the first time. I’m not sure I’d say it’s a must do if visiting Cork, but if you are here for an extended period of time, definitely check it out."
"A beautiful hub of knowledge complete with a museum and gift store with quaint and cute little handcrafted and artisan things. Has a beautiful garden tea shop/cafe. Even if you don’t go to the museum, this is still worth a visit because of the natural gardens and the crocheted flower garden. A work of art!"
"Nano Nagle Place is a unique complex in the heart of Cork city. The place has a museum, heritage rooms, gardens, the Good Day Deli, both a design and gift shop, and a Cork focused book shop in the museum. The gorgeous regenerated convent buildings are home to many educational charities. I advise anyone who hasn't been there to go there. Visiting this place is a magical experience as it retains a balance of cultural history and a modern green walkway."
