Reviews
"Nice staff and atmosphere. They had live music when we went there. The food was edible, but not too good. I had fish and chips and the only tasty thing were the fries. Fish was greasy and tasteless, served on a pea & mint puree that was not for my taste. The salad had weird taste too, sweet. The others in the group didn't like the food too. The rating is really for the atmosphere and staff."
"Brilliant night. Dropped in for a few beers and were surprised by a cracking good band (True Sons Duo) and a great atmosphere overall. Didn’t get food but what we saw looked pretty impressive. Will definitely head back if I’m the area again."
"Beautiful place! The drinks and food were great. It's sad that they stop serving drinks to the table post 8 PM and you've to head to an overcrowded bar and await your turn. But nonetheless, I enjoyed!"
"Visited for lunch on a Saturday, the venue was very busy considering it was just after Christmas. I had the vegetable soup as a starter which was lovely. For the main I had the lamb hot pot, which was one of the nicest meals I have had in a long time. Very hearty and filling. Staff were attentive and pleasant. Price was reasonable also. Would highly recommend and will definitely be calling again."
