He expanded on many important facts that enabled us to understand the how and why Ireland stands as it does in the world today. John is an expert in navigating the roads of Ireland, a true feat that allowed us to relax, enjoy and experience this beautiful country in a comfortable, stress-free way. A truly personalized experience, we visited areas that larger tours could never have accessed and covered vast amounts of mileage that allowed us to see so much more than the average tour. Having family who migrated to the US from Ireland in the 1920’s, we were eager to learn of what our Irish ancestor’s early life was like before and as they embarked on their journey for freedom. John took this mission to another level and provided us with an experience that did just that. He went so far as to make sure we located the villages and properties where our grandparents were born and raised. John left no stone unturned to ensure that this was the trip of a lifetime. "We spent 9 full days with John on a recent anniversary trip to Ireland. I have to admit, I was a little hesitant when I first booked through Cork Luxury Travel. The site had fantastic reviews, but there weren't very many, which just made me a little uneasy. Despite my hesitations, we booked John as our driver for the entire stay and I am so glad that we did! From the beginning John was extremely helpful with planning our itinerary. I gave him a few places that were on our must-see list and he created a tentative itinerary for us, including the number of days in each town, suggested hotels and other sites to visit. He was always quick to answer my emails, would check for better rates at hotels, and offered advice as we worked on developing a flexible plan. Throughout the trip, John was helpful in so many ways that were above and beyond being a driver. He made calls when dinner reservations needed to be changed or tickets needed to be booked for an excursion. Once he was able to get us tickets even though the event was "booked". Hubby's luggage was delayed for half of our trip. John always made sure the bellman knew to decline our luggage when we checked out, that way it would be delivered to our next hotel. He was always thinking ahead! This was our first experience booking a private driver and it won't be our last. Hubby was able to sit back and enjoy this trip. He didn't have to worry about directions, driving on the "wrong" side of the road, traffic jams, alternate routes or any of that! He could just sit back and enjoy the beautiful views. John took care of everything, plus we were able to discover so many hidden gems (including some amazing hikes) by having a local driver. It was definitely money well spent!"

"We had a wonderful experience with Cork Luxury Travel. John was waiting for us in Dublin airport. His smiling face was great to see after a long flight. Van was very clean and spacious. John is very knowledgeable about the country and so much history. Also he helped us so much with our golfing adventures and walking with us to help on golf course. We will have John plan our next golfing adventure in Ireland for sure. What a fun trip we had he knows lots of fun pubs and we saw a less crowded view of the Cliffs of Moher so beautiful.
