"Great morning out on the Wave Chieftain. Very knowledgable and enthusiastic captain Jerry found us Minke Whale and lots of dolphins. Kids were delighted. Easy to book, highly recommend."
"Despite we didn't see any whale, we could watch a lot of dolphins (including a baby), puffins and seals. The booking was perfect, they send you a reminder by whatsapp and Jerry is the best captain ever! Not only he tries the best for the watching, but he's a really nice person. Thank you very much, Rianne and Jerry. Your trip was the best of our travel to your beautiful and green island!"
"Great 2 and a half hour trip. We were unlucky as there were no whales around that day (July 17th, 2022). However we've seen plenty of Common Dolphins playing around (literally docens of them) and a seal colony (I do not mention seals much as I saw them frequently). The captain (...sorry...I forgot his name) did all in his hands to locate bigger sea mammals. I guess July is not really the best month to see whales in Ireland and there is more about luck than anything else (the previous day they spotted a fin whale in the morning and evening trips). Nice views from the the south west coast of Ireland. Great value, honestly. I would recommend to anyone whether is the best season to spot whales or not (usually, best beginning of spring or early autumn). As well described, it is a very good experience for families with kids or people that does not have 4 hours to complete the evening tour. There were two families there with little ones and they were absolutely delighted. The two and a half hours tour did not feel rushed at all and we had plenty of time to try to spot a whale around while we enjoyed the dolphins fishing, sometimes, literally meters away from the boat. Stunning views of the bay too."
"Had an amazing trip whale watching recently, out with Jerry and his boat Wave Chieftain. Saw lots of Common dolphins and a Minke whale!"
"Very pleasant 3 hours, skipper Jerry Smith was most accommodating and knowledgeable. Also very very keen on us seeing whales. The booking process was flawless, received prompt & detailed replies. Highly recommendable!"
