"Great facility, great care given. My cat has been looked after here for all our holidays & short trips over the last 3yrs. We couldn’t be happier with service. It’s great peace of mind while you’re away to know she is in good hands."
"Had my cat Misty stay & Just Cats on a number of occasions now & he just loves it there he is treated so well & the videos that Amy sends us shows how happy & relaxed he is while staying there. Amy has such a brilliant way with cats would never send my cat anywhere else a 5 star service every time"
"I recently left our little kitten Elmo with Amy and her husband. I was very nervous leaving him with anyone for the first time as he’s so young and he’s particularly delicate. I have to say in hindsight it was the best decision I made. Amy kept in touch with me during his visit as he started to feel unwell. I explained his treatment to date and Amy jumped into action. She purchased probiotics, new specialty formula nuts for sensitive stomachs and an oral rehydration drink. It’s now 2 weeks since Elmo stayed with Amy and I have to say he’s a new kitten altogether. I really wasn’t sure how we were going to get past his delicate appetite and regular stomach upsets. But since his visit to Amy and her guidance on his nutrition we now have a perfectly healthy little kitten who’s thriving and growing and very happy. Elmo will forever more visit Amy if we need to house him for a few days and I’m extremely grateful to her."
"I would not use this cattery again. I dropped my two cats for a weeks stay on 29th November. They traveled in one carrier and one cat had an accident, en route. I told the Cattery about this and offered to take them home, bathe them then drive them back in. The chap who was at the cattery (I never actually met Amy, who runs it) said don't worry, they'd take care of it. When I picked them up on the 8th Dec, both cats still smelt very bad, still of urine to the point that I had to bathe them as soon as they got home. The blanket in their carrier also still held an ammonia stench. It may have been washed, but if it had been, you wouldn't have known it. Worse, it was not mentioned to me at any point, despite my reaching out to check on the boys, during my vacation, that both cats had become very sick. On the journey home we could hear Theo laboring to breathe and had discharge coming from his nose and eyes as did Truman. They were not sick when they were dropped off. Irrespective of whether they caught something there or were already incubating an illness, I am staggered that the gentleman I dealt with, nor Amy, felt any need to attend to this very clear and acute illness and did not attempt to raise it with me at any time including pick up. Both cats are now being treated for colds and upper respiratory tract infections. Both still are coughing sneezing and have yellow nasal and eye discharge and both are very sick. I do not blame Just Cats for the boys getting sick but I do hold them as negligent in their duty of care. I would not recommend this Cattery to anyone. How can two sick cats be kept there for a week in this state? The two options are they didnt notice or did not care. Whether it was no-one noticing they were sick or folk noticing but neglecting to do anything about it, neither option is acceptable."
