Reviews
"TV not working, Depressing place to stay, Some staff should not be working in hospitality due to their unfortunate attitude. This is not a 3star Hotel more like a half way house. Continental Breakfast nothing Continental about it 2 slices white toast drop of orange. Some staff make effort I feel sorry for them. Should be checked out by Tourist Board as unfit for purpose. Used locally as clubbers nights out. Would never stay again. Disgrace."
"Unless you can sleep through blaring music avoid at all costs on weekends. Adjacent nightclub noise will have you awake until 2am. Facilities are dire and while staff seemed nice enough didn't stay around the hotel long enough to find out much. Location is great and parking on street was easy enough but unless you have to book Hearns, don't! 2 star or not spend your money elsewhere."
"It a dump and they looked me out. Had to travel home two hours home after a night shift work"
"Freezing cold . No heat in any part of hotel. Gentleman on reception was not a bit cheerful. No hot breakfast. No remote for tv. No toilet roll holder in downstairs toilet. No hand driers or paper towels either. Bathroom door in room not closing properly. 1 bedside light not working. Had to leave my jacket on while having "breakfast" cornflakes coffee(cold)and toast I know it was cheap, but would gladly pay more for a better service."
"It's a 2 star hotel. Having read other reviews I believe the negative one's were expecting a 4 star. Drop the expectation and you'll enjoy this place. Staff are brilliant. Noise from night club but as a light sleeper I did manage to sleep well. The night porter supplied a fan because it was so hot weather and no breeze. I've stayed in 4 star places that could learn a lot from the staff here. Would recommend and would return next time in the area."
