Reviews
"Murphys Bar & Restaurant was an enjoyable, laid-back atmosphere. Sports games on TV and a full bar. The Irish Stew was a good choice and very filling. My wife also enjoyed the lasagna. This would not be my first choice if I were spending only 1 night in Killarney, but I would definitely consider returning."
"Food: 4/5 good classic Irish bar food. The burger was nice and juicy and cooked well through. The chips were crispy yet fluffy on the inside. Cost: 4/5 pricing is what you’ll expect from a somewhat popular restaurant and nothing that pops out. Environment: 5/5 nice and friendly staff that made good recommendations. Managed to seat a large table last minute and even turned on the heaters when it was cold."
"Attention: this place has a high rating as a pubx but as a restaurant I'm sure it would get a 2/5 if not less. We had dinner the, the service was just ok. The food was tasteless and flavourless. I don't know what else to say but we were surprised. Everything tasted like it was boiled in water and not even salt was added. The least worst was the chicken Parma, but even this dish I had to eat with ketchup to add some flavour. When heading out I noticed that everyone else where just having a fringe and almost no one else was having food there lol."
"This is THE place when visiting Killarney. Friendly wait staff that remembered me by name and what I ordered after my first visit. Drinks were very good and prices reasonable. Food was the best of everywhere we went in Ireland. I’m not a big fan of burgers, but there’s was Phenomenal! Wife Loved the cabbage and bacon. I can’t rave enough about this place. Gets crowded at night but there is another side of the bar that’s more intimate."
