"No.35 The ambiance inside was tranquil , although the restaurant is fairly small downstairs. There may were quite a few walk-ins The manager was very unflappable about everything. There is also sitting for 4 or 6 tucked away in the corner, I wish I had friends there to sit - it would be a perfect night. From the starter to dessert, the food was heavenly ! While we were in the restaurant there were several walk ins turned away. Please book it’s simple gorgeous food"

"Generally very good food, but with a couple of mild disappointments. The octopus with chorizo and chickpeas starter was very tasty. The corned beef with salsa verde starter was good, the beef was actual pulled beef rather than the corned beef you would get from a tin. The salsa verde seemed to consist mostly of cucumber, which wasn't expected. The pork belly with puy lentils was excellent, s good combination and very well prepared. The cod with smoked black pudding, butter beans and aioli was disappointing. While the cod was cooked perfectly, the combination didn't work so well, although it could have worked better with the same ingredients. The pear with chocolate salted caramel was delicious, but the creme caramel was very ordinary, tasted more like flan than creme caramel. The wine list was not very inspired, but was reasonably priced. It missed having a few gems at the top end. The service was very friendly. All in all, I'd come here again."

"Wow, what a fantastic evening we had at No. 35. Amazing food and hosting by Neil who made our dinner even better. The feather blade is the dish!!! However all the food we ate was exceptional. Highly, highly recommend. Make sure you book."

"A wonderful dining experience. From the moment we sat down we felt very relaxed. The menu was short which we loved. Less is more in my opinion.. The food was definitely up there with the best. My husband got the Cod I had the beef.. Both dishes were full of flavour and delicious. Our waitress was brilliant and full of fun.. Top marks to Tony the chef.. Well be back"
