Reviews
"very authentic local styled restaurant- i had a blast :)"
"Delicious dinner @ Colgans. Fish and Chips & Burger both great choices. They also have cocktails which looks equally as delicious. Just across the way from Killarney National Park."
"I don’t often write reviews, but after this experience I just had to. Firstly, this hotel/restaurant is next to one of the biggest national parks in Ireland, and for some reason “no dogs allowed” in the pub. Pure insanity. It is down to discretion of the management and they have actively chosen not to allow dogs. Secondly, the experience with the food was embarrassingly bad. Let’s list the problems shall well. We waited ages for food to come. Chowder came and was firstly cold, then after clearly microwaved it tasted horrendous. There was SUGAR in the salt shaker!! Keeping in mind this is next to a 5* hotel. Just incredible. They then overcharged us for the kids meal with the excuse “we couldn’t find the kids meal button” . I nearly fell off my chair. The waiters were so incredibly incompetent it was just crazy. They didn’t know anything, and clearly couldn’t work the tills. The whole experience was disgusting. I remember when this place was called Molly Darcys, many years ago! That was a proper pub, with proper service and lovely well priced food. This place I’d be amazed if it stays open! Save your money and go elsewhere."
"No faults, even if there was a delay in the kitchen which there wasn't but you would never know as the staff are so attentive and chatty so you are distracted from the fact that you are waiting on anything. Great atmosphere. Smashing live music being played."
"A very cozy bistro pub. Lovely place to dine inside or outside, they have a really nice outdoor seating area to sitback and enjoy your meal. Members of staff were very kind and welcoming on our visit, the quality of the food was absolutely outstanding, we definitely left with a full belly of delicious food. High quality food and service!"
