"Called in after the Race Meeting, had a few drinks asked for a coffee which was no problem as they serve food. The coffee was luke warm, asked to have it reheated in the microwave (didn't ask for a complete new cup) this seemed to be a problem for the bar man, told me the bar was busy, microwave was upstairs but I was having none of it, so off he went and came back with a hot cup of coffee. Won't be calling in there again, lots of other places in Killarney who will be glad of my custom."

"Chose this restaurant as a 2nd option after nearby restaurant was at capacity. The evening singing performer did a great job. We ordered a hamburger and a chicken burger. Chicken burger was super dry and over cooked and ended up sending it back. My burger looked like 1/3 of the meat had broken off. Not sure why they served 2/3 of a burger. Sent it back. 2nd time they came back and the burger was missing the bacon. Finally bring back the burger a 3rd time. Fries are super cold now. Burger is bland with no flavor. My wife was wise to refuse to have them fix her chicken burger. I probably should have done the same with my burger and paid for our drink and left."

"Went in here to watch the League Cup Final between Newcastle v Man Utd, we asked where they going to show the game which we were directed by the waiter to ask some fella drinking at the bar in a failte shirt - who told us he would show it and pointed out a TV he would show it, we sat down and ordered drinks and starters with the plan to order a main when the game started. When it came down on to the time to turn on the game they wouldn't and left on the pointless France Ireland Rugby game, there was one person watching it. The fella I had spoke to earlier told me to talk to the guy who wanted to watch the game, I wasn't going to confront another customer. Horrible experience and incredibly badly managed bar! We ended up have to run to another bar to watch the game and missed the first few minutes."

"Been here only a handful of times fabulous home cooked food! Brilliant and very helpful Staff! Wonderful homely atmosphere nice and clean and well maintained by all who work there! Kind and helpful members of staff! Live music most evenings here! Great place to have a bite to eat on your own or with a group! Great place for Celebrating Birthdays Stagg and Hen nights! Love Killarney! The Failté Restaurant is popular and can get very busy so booking a table is a great idea!"
