"I visited Dromana house and the gardens as part of a group learning about herbs and health. A really wonderful welcome by the owners. This is such an amazing and beautiful place! The location, historic gardens, lovely interior and the panoramic views across the blackwater river make this a unique and memorable experience."
"A wonderful place to stay for a catch-up with friends. Really comfortable and spacious period apartment with lots of character as well as everything we needed, and lovely gardens to take a stroll in or sit and enjoy the River Blackwater flowing past. A restorative weekend. Thoroughly recommended."
"What a place to stay! We only had a few nights there over the Christmas period, but we loved it and hope to go back for more. There is such tranquility and history and nature and space. Also, there's so little light pollution, that the night skies will put on a display for you, too! Waterford is a great county, and this is one beautiful location!"
"An incredible place to visit: beautiful grounds and a house full of history which the host shares in a personable, interesting and witty manner. The three dogs are so well behaved and happy to walk round the grounds with you.I can't recommend a trip to Dromana House more highly."
"We really enjoyed our recent stay at Dromona House. The East Wing is a lovely, large and very comfortable apartment within the main house. Dromona's location and grounds are beautiful and it's the perfect place for a relaxing stay. The house is child and dog friendly and the accommodation is great value for money. Our children had great fun playing croquet and throwing balls for the dogs in the garden. The history of the house is fascinating and Barbara offers a tour which brings the history to life. Barbara is a brilliant host and we would love to come back to stay again in the future."
