"A gorgeous place to visit. The houses are deceivingly large, there is a tennis court and grass area with football nets. The only issue is that it is a couple of miles away from town and without a car it is a good twenty minute walk. The beach is a half hour walk down country roads and so taking small children with you is not ideal. Basically if you have children with you make sure you have a car."
"Nice place to Stay for a Holliday or to leave, good place for Kids with play graunds back yard lot of space for parking, good service and the Inchidone Beach is jest couple of miles away"
"We took a house for 9 people. We are a family group of 4 adults & 5 children. We found the house suited us extremely well. The bedrooms were alocated on the upper & lower floors. They are spacious with 1 bathroom with shower on each floor. The kitchen is on the ground floor. It contains a washing machine, dishwasher & cooker with hob & plenty of utensils, crockery etc. We loved the lounge com dining area with a large dining table which gave comfortable seating for the family. We played tennis, not a great tennis court surface, but adequate for a fun game. The children liked the donkeys & horses which visited the nearby field. There are a lot of activities for the family & especially for the children to enjoy in the area, eg walking in Castle Freke Woods. Kayaking on Clear Island & Inflatables nr Rosscarbery. Clonakilty is a lovely town with good shopping. We liked the shop with outdoor seating where we had a welcome coffee after a long walk & enjoyed the display of old farming machinery in Rathcarberry. We really enjoyed our stay & hope to visit again. Maura Donnelly"
"So cross with the badly painted kerb outside this holiday village. The fact that it can't be an v well led me to puncture and wreck a new tyre. Please make more visible."
"Rented a 6 bed for a week, family and friends visited and stayed over! High chairs and travel cots provided. There was actually one proper cot which our almost 2 year old was much more comfortable in. Living area was very spacious, kitchen had lots of pots, pans cutelry etc Dishwasher wasnt working, one of our guests took the liberty of servicing it as we had lots of visitors for dinner etc and would have been constantly washing up! Couches were very uncomfortable but we really only used the house as a base,we were out a lot visiting the MANY nearby attractions! Lovely clean and spacious bedrooms, lots of hot running water for showers and a bath. There was only 1 ensuite in our house! Staff were friendly and helpful! Would definitely reccomend, very reasonably priced!"
