"Absolutely gorgeous castle, location with a great view and so far the best gardens I've seen in Ireland. Totally worth a visit, loads of history and beauty in one place. Can't wait to be back!"
"A gorgeous place to spend the day. Bring a picnic, family friendly."
"Very beautiful castle and gardens! It is a shame that you can't see at least some part of the castle interior, but it is worth a visit even just to see the gardens....I loved the part with different kinds of succulents and flowers, and the small watchtowers, with great view from the top....feels like you are transported to some ancient times, when the occupants of the castle used to roam these castle grounds. They have huge Magnolia trees, never seen them so big,so it was a nice surprise too! It was the beginning of March, and they were in full bloom."
"Very beautiful castle and garden, very good service and very good Caffe."
"The most beautiful garden I've ever seen. Densely packed with beautifully cared for flowers, shrubs and trees. You can have tea and cake in the garden in a most wonderful setting. Fantastic value for the entrance fee. The sculptures were hard to find and the art exhibition puzzling - but go for the garden, it's amazing!"
