"We had a great stay in this immaculately clean hostel. Newly refurbished by owner Garry who is completing restoration work on a historic old building. He is a lovely host which adds to the enjoyment of the stay. I've added no pictures because his posted ones are exactly what you get. Nestled between Galtee and Comeragh mountains this is a hikers treasure. One of the best hostels I've stayed in."

"Stayed here after cycling from Waterford to Dungarvan down the greenway then over the Knockmealdown mountains to Clogheen. The hostel is a historic building that has been completely refurbished throughout while being careful to retain the character of an older house. Highlights are a very nice kitchen and dining area plus large lounge with woodburning stove, couches etc. The owner has invested a lot of time and attention to detail and it shows. Highly recommended."
"Not only was this an amazingly clean and modern facility...the grounds are pretty....the scenery is beautiful and the owners; Garry, Caroline and Gemma, are the most wonderful and kind people you could ever ask for. "Over the last 35 plus years I have spent a lot of time in bunk houses and hostles. This is the most comfortable and best I have stayed in to date. Spotless clean, spacious and cleverly decorated throughout. Well worth a stay for night or weekend."
