"Beautiful charming B&B with great Irish Charm in the heart of Listowel with two fabulous Hosts who go above an beyond for their guests. This is now my 5th time to stay at North county as I have family close by. I always stay in the family room on the top floor which is big ,spacious and spotless clean. As you step outside you are in the heart of Listowel and have everything on your doorstep. Fantastic base to explore the rest of Kerry and its beauty. The full Irish breakfast is to die for and is always piping hot and delicious. My little boy adores Monica's porridge which she makes for him each time we stay. I and can not recommend Monica and Roisin highly enough and look forward to many more visits at the North County House!"

"First time staying in the North County this weekend with my partner. We were warmly welcomed by Roisin who checked what time we'd like our breakfast. Our room was very clean and looked out on the street below where we had gotten parking just outside the door. Great value and brill location and very close to shops, pubs etc - everything is in walking distance. We got food late on the Friday eve and there was no issues with using the sitting room to eat it and catch up with family! Breakfast (full irish) was cooked to order and the food was gorgeous!!! Will definitely return to this family run b&b."

"Would definitely recommend! Myself and my partner stayed here recently and we received a very warm welcome on arrival, there is a lovely family feel to the place and it's excellent value for money. The breakfast was beautifully cooked and the location is very central and close to shops etc;"

"Stayed here over the weekend as we had a family party nearby. The location is excellent with plenty of amenities within walking distance. The guest house itself is spotless clean, with beautifully modernized bathroom and spacious shower, they even provide shower gel and hairdryer unlike other B&B's! The owner and her daughter went above and beyond for us, real family friendly place to stay. I have to say I always thought I made a good scrambled egg breakfast but theirs was superb, and all cooked fresh to order, not left sitting under some hot plate drying up! I think I drank two pots of coffee it was so good, and they are big coffee pots! We would definitely stay here again, great value for money and we didn't need to eat until evening time after such a great big breakfast! Well done to the owners for providing such a great service during this economic crisis, lovely people, and well worth a visit."
