Marguerite's Bed and Breakfast Baltimore Road, County Cork

"I was made feel welcome, brought to my well equipped bedroom with TV, shower with lashings of hot water, tea and coffee facility, CLEAN and fresh bed linen, and a quiet location. For Breakfast Marguerite had prepared freshly stewed apple, blueberries, yoghurt and nut and seed granola (as that was my preference) plus a cafetiere of fresh coffee in cream coloured china crockery. I passed on the fresh scones and brown bread this time. Marguerite is a woman of many talents and I just had to buy a set of 5 white crochet angesl as a Christmas tree gift for my American pal. Crochet hats, wraps and scarves were piled high on the table. She is obviously a busy woman whose talent is also reflected in her garden. I hope to stay next time I'm on Skibereen...."

"My husband and I are traveling Ireland by car, and unfortunately having to book accommodations rather last minute! Marguerite was more than understanding, and was beyond welcoming — even with our late check in! Very comfortable cottage, with great beds and private toilets. I’ll have to say, the homemade breakfast had to be our favorite part. Cannot recommend this stay enough. Be sure to pick up some of Marguerites crocheted hats, scarves etc. Thank you so much, we will absolutely be back!"
