"We got married at the Bantry House and had our reception at the Eccles Hotel. I can only rave about our experiences. They took such fantastic care of us. We came in from Florida with about 30 guests in our party and they treated us like gold even though by all standards we were a very small wedding. Not once did they treat us like we were anything but special. Marie was our hotel wedding coordinator and she is absolutely incredible!!! She helped me plan my wedding every step of the way and she went above and beyond for us in ways that are just too numerous to count, but that added up to the most special day of our lives. Without her assistance, we would not have had such a wonderful experience. The Yeats Suite was beautiful, the food was incredible - we had our reception dinner and breakfasts there as well, the ballroom was absolutely gorgeous, and so much attention was paid to every detail. I can't stress enough how wonderfully taken care of we were. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this staff and Marie if you are looking for a beautiful place to get married. "Called here on Sunday 30th April for a Coffee. The bar was very quiet with only one couple having a meal. The Coffee was reasonably priced @€3 and is set in beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended."

"Going to Glengarriff is always a treat. We went to the Hotel while passing and asked if we could have breakfast there. It was not a problem at all. They accomodated us without any problem. Breakfast was superb and I would go back any time. Coffee was not so tasty but the view and staff made up for it. A great experience."

"Very nice hotel. Rooms seem to have been recently refurbished, so there's the combination of an older style hotel with modern rooms. Staff are really good and they give everyone plenty of time to chat. Great food and portions. Breakfast is as good as I've had anywhere.
