"We stayed at The Old Monastery during our Ring of Kerry Cycling Tour. It was a beautiful location near the river and very close to town, only a hop skip and a jump away from everything. Lucy was such a wonderful host. Though we were there only for one night, I would've loved to stay there longer. The house provided everything we needed. We were a large group and it was perfect for us. The next morning, breakfast was included and we were provided a variety of a selections - all wholesome and locally sourced products. Because it was formerly a monastery, the monastic traces provided a special and hospitable touch - I loved the library living space with old books around the house and the stained glass windows the most."

"Gorgeous spacious comfortable old building and gardens, one room with stained glass! So pretty. Ideal location, lovely treatment and great recommendations from the host. Warm duvets, warm showers, only point to improve: the WiFi could do with a booster, but you're not on the ring of Kerry to be online!"

"Staying at The Old Monastery was a highlight of our honeymoon in Ireland. We had a group of twelve people cycling together around the Ring of Kerry, and all of us stayed together in Cahersiveen. Everybody was thrilled when they arrived and saw the beautiful old home. The Old Monastery was comfortable, fascinating, and well-prepared. Our host Lucy was communicative, welcoming, and willing to accommodate our last-minute changes. We all wished we could have stayed longer!"
